When venturing west in 2000 everybody warned us of Portland Bill and while waiting for nicer weather in Weymouth we saw several boats returning from unsuccessful attempts of going west in unfavorable conditions. Finally we succeeded and some 8 hours of sailing brought us to Dartmouth. Dittisham, Stoke Gabriel and Totnes almost kept us for to long in River Dart before continuing to Fowey. We would really like to come back and visit some of the places time did not permit us to, when we were there in 2000.

| Fowey. No comments | Polperro, halfway between Plymouthand Fowey, can only be visited in calm conditions. When we passed in 2000 conditions were excellent and to this day I regret that we did not change our plans and paid a visit |
