Street musicians in Palermo
The streets of Palermo are vibrant with foodmarkets, small trattorias and coffe houses as well as street musicians (we even experienced an ice.creem festival). The two guys on this vedeo however was a bit out of the ordinary and their typical Tarantel is worth while watching.

Puppetry
A special Palermo experience is  L’Opera dei Pupi. It is a typical Sicilian theater tradition using puppets 'on a string' (and since 2008 included at the UNESCO World Heritage List).  The main caracter is usually Charlemagne and his knights, and even if you don't understand one word, it's somthing you shouldn't miss.

Good Friday procession in Palermo
Even if the Easter processions in Palermo did not live up to what we had experienced in Seville, it was still exiting to follow. I must admit though that for a pagan Dane it seems a bit akward to watch the deceased Christ in a glass coffin  being carriyed through the narrow streets of Palermo.
