Southern Norway

Sørlandet (litt.: The southern country) is the name of the Norwegian SE coast between Cape Lindesnes and the the Oslo fjord. It is well protected by the high inland mountains and when it’s raining at the Norwegian west coast it is often sunny weather here.  The whole coast line offers fantastic sailing between thousands of small islands. We have visited Sørlandet in 1984, 1992 and 2001.
