Fish auction in Sant Carles
Sant Carles is allegedly the largest fishing port in Spanish Mediterranean. Every day around 16.00 fresh fish is landed. The small boats are entering the harbour as pearls on a string, immediately unloaded, seafood is placed on a conveyor-belt and brought on auction. Potential buyers watch live while bidding and immediately after a representative for the buyer is waiting to pick up the 'catch'. Everything done within an hour.
